IN-CLASS PRESENTATIONS

We are working towards developing presentations on rainforest conservation. Our volunteers will be delivering these presentations to schools and other interested groups in the Greater Toronto Area. The programs will be approximately one hour in length and will consist of slides and video.

INTERACTIVE MULTI-MEDIA CD-ROM

We are developing CD ROM resources that contain interactive education lessons that students can complete on their own. Direct links to curriculum expectations for the Life Systems strand in Grades 2, 4, and 7 will ensure your students are covering relevant material in addition to learning about rainforest conservation.

TEACHERS RESOURCE MANUAL

A resource manual for teachers is also being developed. This manual will consist of information about rainforests, the organisms that live there, and their conservation. Teachers will be able to use these resources directly in the classroom and cover specific curriculum expectations for students in Grades 2, 4, 6, and 7.
